Willy Nast is a writer and podcaster.

His true crime podcast City of Lights is available now.

It has been named one of the best podcasts of 2026 by the BBC, the Irish Independent, and Podcast Review.

Willy spent most of his adult life in Chicago, where he co-hosted the monthly live reading series Essay Fiesta and the “completely unpretentious” literary podcast All Write Already!

He studied creative non-fiction in Northwestern University’s undergraduate creative writing program, and has published short works of creative non-fiction in online publications such as The Morning News and The Bygone Bureau.

He currently lives in Iowa with his family.
